How we build it
Timber is chosen for the room it is going into. Painted work is built in tulipwood and moisture-resistant MDF because they hold a crisp arris and take a sprayed finish without grain rise. Are hardwood doors fire rated?
FD30 and FD60 doorsets are available but must be built as a certified assembly — door, frame, intumescent and ironmongery tested together. A hardwood door with a strip added afterwards is not rated.
How do I pay, and when?
