How we build it
Timber is chosen for the room it is going into. Painted work is built in tulipwood and moisture-resistant MDF because they hold a crisp arris and take a sprayed finish without grain rise. Every finished job gets a short handover: what the surface is, how to clean it, and how to adjust a hinge if a door drops after the heating has been on for a season. Adjustment is normal in timber and takes about two minutes once you know which screw to turn.

Can sliding wardrobes be removed later?
The doors and track come off easily. The carcass is fixed to the wall, so removing it will need making good behind. It is fitted furniture, designed to stay.
Can sliding doors be full height?
Yes, up to about 2,800mm. Above around 2,400mm we move to a heavier gear set and a steel-reinforced stile, because a tall panel that flexes will jam in the track.
Do sliding doors seal against dust?
Not fully — there is always a running clearance. Brush seals on the stiles reduce it a great deal. If dust is a real concern, hinged doors on soft-close hinges are the better choice.
Is the floor under the wardrobe carpeted?
We recommend fitting to the subfloor and carpeting up to the unit. Sliding gear needs a flat, firm bottom track, and carpet underneath will compress unevenly and throw the doors out.
What guarantee do you give?
Ten years on workmanship. Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty, which on good runners and hinges is usually lifetime. Finishes are guaranteed for five years against flaking or delamination in normal domestic use.
