How we build it
Timber is chosen for the room it is going into. Painted work is built in tulipwood and moisture-resistant MDF because they hold a crisp arris and take a sprayed finish without grain rise. Should there be a window in a dressing room?
Ideally yes, for ventilation. If there is not, an extract fan on a humidistat is worth fitting — a sealed room full of clothes and no air movement is how you get musty fabric.
Can a dressing room be made from a small bedroom?

How much room do I need for a walk-in?
A single-sided run needs 1,500mm of floor width — 600mm for the units and 900mm to stand and open a drawer. A double-sided run needs 2,300mm minimum. Below that you are better off with a wardrobe wall.

Ten years on workmanship. Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty, which on good runners and hinges is usually lifetime. Finishes are guaranteed for five years against flaking or delamination in normal domestic use.
