We work in Wakefield regularly enough to know the housing stock: millstone-grit terraces, back-to-backs and substantial Victorian villas. That shapes how a carcass is built and how much scribe is left on a filler panel, and it is the difference between joinery that looks fitted and joinery that looks delivered.

We build off the survey, not off the plan. That means the carcasses arrive in Wakefield already sized for your walls, with scribes left where the wall leans, and the fit becomes a matter of levelling and fixing rather than cutting and hoping.
Survey slots in Wakefield are booked in runs across West Yorkshire, usually within a fortnight. Call 0800 088 6248 or use the form and we will confirm the next available date.

Joinery in Wakefield — common questions
What guarantee do you give?
Ten years on workmanship. Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty, which on good runners and hinges is usually lifetime. Finishes are guaranteed for five years against flaking or delamination in normal domestic use.
How do I pay, and when?
A deposit at order to cover materials, a stage payment when the work leaves the workshop, and the balance on completion after you have inspected the fit. Everything is written into the quotation before you commit.
Do you charge for the survey and drawings?
The measured survey and the quotation are free. If you want fully detailed manufacturing drawings or a 3D visual before committing, that is chargeable and the fee comes off the job if you proceed.
Can you match existing joinery in the house?
Yes. We take a profile of the existing skirting, architrave or door and either match it from stock cutters or have a cutter ground so the new work runs identically. Matching an old paint colour is straightforward; matching aged oak takes a sample panel and a couple of attempts, which we build into the programme.
